Set off at about 9 am to the shallow waters off Tekong island, got a few snappers. Head out east to a few spots, end up quite productive on getting mainly grunters. Baits used were worms & live prawns, the former proved to be more effective. Waters were quite calm thru' out. Final tally: 34 grunters; 6 snappers; 1 sicklefish; 1 shark ..........42 fishes excluding 10's of catfishes & fishes less than 20cm TL. One huge fish[aprox 60cm], looks like a ladyfish, jumped out after lifting up to the boat... |
