Beaches, sandbar, mangroves, esturines. Form schools. Hide inself in sand when danger approched. Feeds on worms, small prawns.
Low to mid price. Good for deep frying. Spoilt easily when exposed.
Yes, this fish was caught in Sarimbun. It's also commonly found in many parts of our surrounding sandy beaches.
