SAFRA RESORT BRIDGE |
This is the road bridge you'll cross when heading towards Safra Resort Country Club[left side of the pic] |
You can try over here, the river mouth which is near the bridge too. |

Same spot as the other pic. As you can see, the canal opens out to the sea. |

View of the other side the canal. There are some anglers prefer to try over that side. |

I'm on the breakwater. the yellow thing behind is actually a mini lighthouse. You can try fishing over here too but current here is pretty strong. |

View of the left side, from the bridge, you'll see the breakwater & the yellow thing at the end. |

Bash thru here to get to the breakwater. It's harder to go by the coast. |
That's the breakwater from a distance. It stretches out to the sea. |

Drive up this kerb just before the bridge, just park on the sandy path. There's another one just after the bridge but it's only limited to 2 cars[see the 1st pic]. Or park at the paid parking inside the resort. |
You will see those diners by the sea[Safra Resort Sea Sports Ctr] in the evening when you are at the breakwater |

The road name is "Changi Coast Walk" It's just before Safra Resort. The map is not accurate, the bridge is actually very near the open sea. |

Quote from surfer, Sam Chong[from email] - I've caught a number of fishes here a few yrs ago but I think it still can be done. I'll recomend u use a floater with leader about 60cm with live prawn. Try not to cast too far out, probably about 4 to 5 ft away from the breakwater. Always make sure u hold the rod upwards in order the lines to be tight & straight so when the fish takes a bite, u can feel it & strike it easily w/o missing it most of the time.
